ƪ(˘Y˘)┐Collaborative Literature Circles ┌(˘W˘)ʃ

''Waaazzaaap'' as the annoying orange  says, L.O.L. very cheesy eh? -,-
So, what have really been happening in humanities this past two weeks is about Lit. Circles! @(^_^)@
Mrs. Narsiman assigned everyone in my class to do our Lit. circles with a partner! XLast week Sidney got to be my partner but, this activity was not all about fun, there were some problems we needed to figure out so that our work will be the best we can. The good thing is, we got over it now, we conquered on how to do it and I think we'll most likely get a quite good grade. For more information about why I really have made this blog-post, it's supposed to tell you what I find interesting, good or bad to do less or more.

  CHALLENGES
First, I'd like to answer Mrs. Narsiman's 2nd assignment for this blog-post. Challenges / obstacles which ''I'' overcame, well like I told you there were a bit of problems. Sidney had to go to his swim meet out of Kuala Lumpur last weekend when our Lit. Circle deadline was on Tuesday! This was a big problem because we had to check each other work and give some suggestions to make it good, moreover it would be silly if we have the same passage or questions etc. For the record, our first work on Literatures are not pretty, questions can be so much better. Plus, we both confess we're not good at evidences. That's the reason why we don't think getting some done in the end of Sunday was good enough, but I think this was why we worked hard at and after school on Monday. We finished our Lit. Circle at the same time, even though my passage and Sidney's question are similar, they're different topics which we think is better!

Now I'm focussing on my new understandings I gained about the novel. And you know what? This was a bit awkward because I actually took allot of part of my Literature Circle about this. I gained so much understanding or a word that match with my book best ''recognize'' about Miyax's life. As you may know from my last blog-post, my book is Julie of the Wolves.
Now I know so much about her, my examples; why she was in Alaska, why her father is not there and why she married and hated Daniel. I think the most important is why she married Daniel because, from the start of the book it focuses about her marriage and when her going away. Miyax's father actually have made an agreement with Naka, Daniel's father. It will be for her marriage when she is 13, Kapugen thought it would be the best for his daughter. It turned out that Daniel was basically a maniac or what me and Sidney like to say ''Retarded''

I think that this following assignment was very easy, Benefits of working with someone. From my opinion, this was really helpful and fun because we are both students, it is different getting comments and suggestions from a teacher or a friend. It's not that teachers do bad comments, not at all, I could get peer reviewed many times by friends! Of course a teacher cannot check every one of their students work more than once in two days, so I think this reflects our grades. Even more, it's good to do our work in the same time. While we were working on our Lit. Circle we sometimes get good thoughts we can share with our partner straight away as it is important for theirs. The fact that we were able to finish our Literature Circle much more faster than working alone was also very precious, and two brains are better than one! After all of that, I'm sure we would get a totally higher quality grade.
