^,^ My Learning Profile ^_^

On Tuesday, Mrs.Narsiman canceled Lit.Circles because Mr.Whiting came to visit our class. He talked about Learning Profiles and demonstrated what we needed to do, it is allot similar like quizzes, a quiz to learn more about ourselves and how we all work best. The test is taken by which brain people use, which hand, which eye, which foot, and lastly the eyes. I think what really affects our whole body is one thing, brain, you're either a gestalt or logic it's basically left part of brain or the right. The test is not 100% accurate, because it is limited access, my hardest body parts to figure out are my ear and feet. It is why some people think their result of Learning Profile is not true. But I'm satisfied with my result, I use my left logic part of my brain and my left eye, all my other ''twin'' body parts are right sided which makes me a profile C.

I learn and take information into my brain best by focusing on the auditory details. At first, I thought that I learn worse when a teacher explains many things, but as I thought about it, I learn best when I have discussions with others, anyone. That is why I really love Lit.Circle discussions.
There is another way I learn best, my movements tend to be planned, I can never do something unusual without thinking what to do. I thought I was very messy and don't know what to do first kind of person until this test told me, it was a total correct answer. I don't do this only for work or study, for example, every time I turn my laptop on there will be two windows up, I always close one of the other first, or, if I need to talk to someone important without realizing I am planning.

This next thing is the only one that I don't agree, my Learning Profile said that I needed to do some activities that relaxes and use all eye muscles in an integrative way like Lazy 8's. What I really need to do and focus is to be on my feet, I don't literally need to stand, but in every class I swing my chair to the front not back so that my both of my feet can touch the ground. Why I don't agree about the Lazy 8's? Whenever I have a pencil and paper, and the teacher is talking boring, I will draw anything in my mind. If I'm at home and I need to remember something I have forgotten I walk in circles, just like why I stay on my feet to learn.

My strategies that would help me in my learning is something other students may hate. Positive, enjoyable sensory-motor experiences will help develop what I am learning, when my class teachers say we are going to do an activity, something that will refer back of what we have learned, in a game or joke way some students say ''awwh'' and I am excited.

I would like my teachers to know that I visually looks for the image and emotional content during non-stressed enjoyable learning. So, if my eyes is everywhere around the room, I am most-likely to be looking at what other students is doing, or, the emotions they're having. My teachers need to sort of wake me up, the best example for a teacher that does that is Mrs.Smith, she always says ''OKAY'' every now and then. Every teacher thinks that if students are looking at them, it means they're listening and focusing, this is not always true for me. So teachers, when I am learning in your subject, and I just sits there staring at you, it doesn't mean I am focusing.
